ciate speed dial

Here’s a not so great picture of Ciate Speed Dial. This is a vivid orange semi jelly which covers completely in three coats. I really like it, but it doesn’t top with my summer favorite.

make up store linda

Here’s Make Up Store Linda. A peachy, apricot, coral creme. It has an OK application and the color is divine for the season. I love it a lot! It’s a tad pinker than what my pictures show. Also, please ignore the horrid state of my cuticles. They’ve been looking dreadful lately.

I think this color is fantastic. I’ve been only wearing oranges, orange corals and apricot colors lately and I can’t get enough of this color! What will be your go-to color this season?

nail polish and me

Nail Polish tag…

1. How many nail polish bottles do you have?
Around 700 now but I’m looking to downsize.

2. Which nail polish brand is your favorite?
Definitely Nails Inc.

3. Do you like crackle varnishes, and do you have them?
I don,t but I have a black one.

4. What is the brand of your first nail polish?
Miss Ylang.

5. If you had the chance to create your own nail polish brand, what would you call it?
I don’t know, but I’ve been thinking about it without coming up with anything good.

6. Which nail polish does not suit you?
Foil, metallic and shimmer finishes. Yellow, yellow-oranges, pastels or light colors of most kinds except aqua/minty light blues.

7. Which nail polish colors suit you?
Black, grey, taupe (cool toned), cool toned purples, khaki greens, orange red and orange corals.

8. Name two nail art products you love.
None. I guess I’m boring to most NP fanatics, but I only like wearing cremes and only certain colors, though nail art might look very good on some people, I want my nails “plain”.

9. What was the best nail polish you received as a gift?
Chanel Vendetta and Chanel Noir Ceramic. I got them from my boyfriend and that’s why I love them so much.

10. Write something about your favorite nail polish blog you are reading.
There is no much to say about it, other than…well, not much to say about it, but I do read a few: Scrangie, Neglelakkmani, Polishaholic, The Polished Perfectionist, Fashion Polish and Ommorphia Bar.

11. Which nail polish brand do you like second best?
OPI.

12. Glitter or no glitter?
No Glitter.

13. OPI, China Glaze or Essie?
At the moment, OPI and Essie. Haven’t liked anything from China Glaze in a long while.

14. When do you change your nail polish?
When it starts showing signs of wear or it’s not as glossy anymore, despite several coats with a top coat refresher.

15. What color do you like best to have your nails?
Dark purple and black.

16. Dark or bright varnish?
Dark.

17. What do you have on the nails right now?
Nails Inc Maliblush, a dark orange/coral creme. Been wearing this and re-applying it since March.

18. Matte nail-in or out?
Hmmm…Guess it’s out for me at least.

19. French manicure – yay or nay?
Nay. Looks fake and old-fashioned.

20. Favorite winter color?
Dark purple, taupe, earthly tones, black and grey.
